Feather Hills is a boutique winery nestled along the Shawnee Hills Wine Trail in southern Illinois. Since opening in 2017, owners Randy and Renee Feather have focused on the daily demands of running the vineyard. Meanwhile, their growing email list sat unused — a missed opportunity to boost brand awareness and drive sales. Now, with new custom photography of the property and engaging copy, Feather Hills has been sending out a monthly newsletter for over a year. It averages a 30% open rate and has generated over $10,000 in direct sales.
